Chhattisgarh Sate is located in the center part of India. Formerly this was part of Madhya Pradesh and later in November 1st 2000, they formed a single state with eighteen Chhattisgarhi speaking districts. It is the 10th largest state in India and Raipur is the capital. Chhattisgarh borders with Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh. They are primarily a rural dominated state with only 20% of population residing in urban area.
